A yoga workshop for beginners and experienced practitioners of Iyengar Yoga aged 50 and over who want to consciously improve their strength and flexibility. As we age, our bodies change—as do our expectations and how we treat ourselves. It’s less about “Where do I want to go?” and more about “How do I want to be?”
Are you curious about yoga or looking for a fresh start after a break? This class is designed to introduce beginners to the essentials of Iyengar Yoga in a clear and accessible way. You’ll gradually build a strong foundation for your practice while learning how to move with awareness and confidence.
Inverted poses are a central pillar of asana practice. In Iyengar Yoga, Sirsasana (headstand) and Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) are considered particularly powerful poses
