This Saturday, I invite you to a special workshop designed specifically for women, based on the principles of Iyengar Yoga. In this workshop, we will focus on adapting your yoga practice to the various stages and ages of a woman’s life.
Iyengar Yoga is known for its precision and alignment in the asanas (postures), which is especially beneficial for tailoring the practice to different life stages such as menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, pre-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause. We will discuss and practice specific asanas that are particularly suitable for each stage.
This workshop provides an opportunity for you to modify your yoga practice to address daily physical and hormonal changes. We will place special emphasis on using props like blocks, straps, and blankets to help you perform the poses safely and effectively. The goal is to develop a practice that is both stable and flexible, meeting the individual needs of your body.
It is important for us that you learn to listen to the signals of your body and respect its cyclical needs. This workshop offers you the chance to recognize and integrate your femininity and the rhythms associated with it into your practice. Through a mindful and adapted yoga practice, you can achieve greater balance, well-being, and a deeper understanding of yourself.
