From 9 to 12 July 2020 from 7.30 to 9.30 am(4×2 hours), organized by Iyengar Yoga Deutschland e.V.
Abhijata Sridhar Iyengar will teach an online workshop via zoom initiated by the Iyengar Yoga Verband Deutschland (IYD e.V.) next week.
Abhijata is one of the most experienced teachers at RIMYI in Pune at the age of 38 and has been involved with the practice and philosophy of yoga since the age of 16. As granddaughter of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar she was taught by him – as well as by Geeta and Prashant, her aunt and uncle. Abhijata was already at our 2009 convention in Cologne with Geeta Iyengar and also accompanied Geeta to international conventions in England, Australia and the USA. She also travelled with BKS Iyengar to conventions in Russia and China. In 2012 Abhijata taught our convention in Munich and left a very strong impression as an inspiring teacher with a clear teaching concept.
Now, in times without in-person conventions, Abhijata shares her rich knowledge and wealth of experience in individual online workshops. Even online, the inspiration of practice, the teaching of yoga is possible. We consider this format with 2 hours on each of the four days to be very inspiring. We will be able to deepen our understanding of the Iyengar Yoga method.
